What is grief?
How does grief feel?
How long does grief last?
How will I know when I'm done grieving?
Grief is a normal, healthy response to
loss. One of the greatest losses that can occur is the
death of someone you love. Healing from a loss involves
coming to terms with the loss and the meaning of the
loss in your life.
The following information addresses the
wide variety of situations involving grief related to
death. If you are bereaved and want to speak with
someone immediately, contact a hospice in your community
and ask to speak with the bereavement coordinator or
social worker.
